We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Conductor to be seconded into a Conductor Instructor role in our Rhymney depot up until the end of September 2021.
With focus on Rhymney depot, this role will allow you to get involved in a range of activities; you will be responsible for delivering trainee conductor training/briefing, providing feedback, coaching and supporting conductors who are returning to work, mentoring conductors undertaking route learning, and completing conductor assessments where needed.
You will also provide support and feedback to the Conductor Management Team when required.
· You must be a Qualified Conductor (two years + qualified experience);
· Uphold strong knowledge of routes and traction for the network;
· You should excel in your current role, have excellent written & verbal communication skills and above all, possess heaps of motivation for the conductor role;
· You will need to hold or be prepared to work towards the Coaching & Assessor and Presentation Skills awards, as well as having good IT skills.
